September 2011
We’ve all got our love stored away for that one person.
We’re like flowers in bloom, waiting patiently for the perfect spring moment to share our souls to the right one. Maybe they’re a love of the past, or maybe you’re chasing that nameless, faceless person into the night hoping that tomorrow will be the day you meet them but also knowing that it won’t be because you yourself aren’t yet at that perfect place, to be that perfect person, for that perfect one for you.
We know more than we give ourselves credit for.
Sometimes though, we allow ourselves to get a little swayed by what surrounds us. Maybe we meet someone, or maybe someone we have always had a crazy physical crush on suddenly wants you - we’re blinded by the journey because the journey is the lesson.
We all need lessons to learn, or we’d never realize when exactly it is that we are at that place of perfection. Maybe we need those strangers that we somehow form relationships with, or maybe we need the profound bond that lasts only months concluding to yourself that you shouldn’t do this and you shouldn’t do that and if anything, you realize how much of a dickhead you are.
We need these moments. For these moments, these little alleyways of life we find ourselves walking down for some temporary tasteful reason - they make us who we are. We don’t make us who we are, the world does, and the world only works in swifts strokes of precision. There is no being impatient when playing in this world, you work in it’s time and only it’s time, even if you’re dead watch says the right time twice a day.
Let life happen to you. Stop stressing so much. You might have to give and work for alot for things that come you’re way, but that is only so you don’t take everything for granted. Anyone can only take things for granted once they realize the truth in the world and life.
There are no fuck ups, or coincidences for that matter.
Everything works out.
Perfectly.
It weird’s me out that we aren’t even friends anymore, yet after 5 years, every time I see you, my heart goes a million miles an hour and I get a billion butterflies.
