Love is a strange thing, it is somehow much like a poem that can mean a hundred different things to a hundred different people and yet, to the writer, the meaning can be a million miles afar from any of the defined definitions of others. The way you can meet someone you have never known before, and somehow just know that you will become more in good timing. The way they smile, the way they look at you, it’s almost as if you’ve known them before, somewhere, somehow, but yet, all it takes is a moment unlike any other with them to make you realize that no matter what is going on in the dark realms of another world, or a previous life, there is only ever right now, and every smile or breath will be the only one as precise as in that moment. The greatest of loves, I believe, are those that are laced in a somewhat friendship so strong as to equate to a bond like no other. Someone that you can be yourself with, and never fear being judged or doing something that isn’t accepted. Someone that you allow to be themselves just the same. For what is better than sharing a moment with someone that understands you and knows you for you. That watches you grow as a person as you watch them grow, like two trees standing side by side each other each and every day no matter how grey the day may be or how sunny the skies. They’re always there, together, through drought and through drench, just enjoying it all with you. Knowing you silently in every moment that passes by, never to be forgotten. Love is only a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning. Thank you for giving it a meaning.
One of the greatest lessons I have learnt in life is learning how to use my time on this Earth wisely. There comes a time when you start to evaluate the time you spend with certain people, or doing certain things that in the end, are no use to you at all. You have been granted the gift of choice over how you choose to spend your energy in life. You do not need to follow the crowd, doing things that hinder you from succeeding in whatever venture it is you desire to succeed in. You do not need to see or speak to people that drain you of vital energy and happiness. If doing something or seeing someone doesn’t make you happy, it’s simple, you don’t have to do either. Be in control of the life you live and dare to make decisions rather than wasting your time not feeling right about certain things and procrastinating your happiness. This life is yours to live, and only you can choose how you wish to spend your time.
